Description
These are medium sized crates of kiln dried Beech. The crate measure 1.1m high, 1.1m wide and 0.75m deep and is the equivalent to 1.5m3 of loose packed wood.
The pallet weighs approximately 400-450kg (moisture dependent) and the logs are dried to less than 20% moisture (typically between 10% and 15%).
Roughly 25cm long these Beech kiln dried logs are ideal for wood burning stoves
Beech grows readily throughout Europe and is a straight grained very hard wood. It is used for a multitude of applications, from kitchen utensils to musical instruments. Beech is even used in the production of some beers during the maturation process.
